What may I bring at the exam?
Candidates must bring a valid primary identification, bearing a future expiration date in mind. The identification document should include a recent photograph and signature. Please follow this link to find out more about the exam process, permitted and forbidden objects etc.

How and where is each APICS exam conducted?

The exams are computer-based and are held at Pearson VUE test centers across the world.

When do I get the exam results?
At the end of the exam, candidates will receive a printed score report that includes the candidate’s name, exam title, score, and pass or fail information. Please be sure to complete all components of the exam, including the post exam survey and properly exit the exam to ensure your results are properly submitted. If no score report is received prior to leaving the testing center, candidates are able to print their score report directly from their My APICS. 

What is the difference between the APICS CPIM, CSCP and CLTD designation?

How many exams do I have to take to get the certification?

You must pass one (1) computer-based exam to become certified. The exam consists of 150 questions: 130 operational and 20 pretest* questions. Exam duration: 3.5 hours.

Can I self-prepare for the exam? 
Yes, you can self-prepare for the exam. What is the APICS CSCP certification?
APICS created the APICS CSCP certification to specifically meet the rapidly changing educational needs in the field of supply chain management. The APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation is designed for professionals interested in increasing their knowledge of supply chain management, those currently working in the field of supply chain management, professionals consulting or teaching supply chain functions; and for those individuals working with enterprise resources planning systems.

The APICS Certificate Maintenance is designed to guarantee your certification validity and value. You should show your continuous development and elaboration in the field of operations management by collecting professional development points. Most activities in the field of operations management will bring you points. 
In order to maintain your CPIM, CSCP or CLTD certification you should earn 75 professional development points.
