COVID-19 update - courses, APICS exams and work from home

Work from home

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our team is working from home during its regular working hours and can be reached at info@symix.bg or +359 2 931 19 08. Classes and exams are held online. For about a month now, we became accustomed to the new state of emergency, with all pros and cons of working remotely, and we hope you are doing well too.

APICS exams - COVID-19 update

Due to the impact of the Coronavirus in many countries’ authorities have instituted strict quarantine measures to prevent the spread of the virus. As a result, all Pearson Vue test centers have been closed in many areas until it is determined that it is safe to resume exam delivery in the region. Certification will be reaching out to candidates who hold valid Authorizations to Test, (ATT’s) to inform them of the situation.

  • ATT’s for candidates in these countries that expire before May 31st will be extended to May 31st.
  • Candidates who have any of these countries as the selected testing country, and who also have a bundle with a 2nd Chance Exam, can receive their free retake if they test and contact exams@ascm.org by July 31st.
  • Pearson Vue will be working with candidates directly to help them reschedule on a case-by-case basis during the closure.
You can either wait for the emergency states to cease to exist (Pearson VUE testing centers in Mainland China start opening in early April), or to schedule an online exam with the new platform - OnVUE (click here first to test your system and learn about the platform). To take an OnVUE exam, you need a quiet location (home or office), computer with webcamera, and a strong Internet connection. To learn how to schedule an online exam, download the OnVUE exam setup and schedule tutorial and/or download the most current APICS exam handbook, where all exam questions and cases (including online exams) are covered.

Change in trainings - online classes

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we changed the place where our trainings are usually conducted. During the pandemic and emergency states in each country we operate in, all trainings there will be held online as an interactive conference call. The platform is Cisco Webex and our instructors are experienced with online trainings. To participate, you will need a good Internet connection and a computer with a camera and microphone. During the training you will see the presenation shared on the instructor's screen while he talks. Thanks to the interactive software, you can "raise a hand", ask questions, draw and write on the screen when solving problems etc.

On our current Trainings and Exams Calendar you can see all upcoming online courses, which have up to 20% off their regular price due to the online training.

We urge you to keep safe and follow your government's instructions during the pandemic.

APICS Learning System Access Extension

In an effort to support learning system users during these unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic, we extended online APICS Learning System access to those expiring around this time. Learning System users with online access expiring between March 22 and May 30, will be extended until May 31, 2020.

APICS Learning systems: Immediate Transition to primary electronic content delivery, with delayed book shipment during COVID-19 Pandemic

Because of the restrictions in Minnesota, USA, from March 27 ("stay at home" order), APICS CPIM, CSCP and CLTD learning systems cannot be delivered at this moment by their provider, Holmes Corporation. The move to electronic content delivery, with the printed learning system to follow at a later date should help address these issues.
While we expect normal shipping and production operations to resume in the near future, we want to decrease the impact on our students.
