ASCM (APICS) exams - COVID-19 update

Due to the impact of the Coronavirus in many countries’ authorities have instituted strict quarantine measures to prevent the spread of the virus. As a result, all Pearson Vue test centers have been closed in many areas until it is determined that it is safe to resume exam delivery in the region. Certification will be reaching out to candidates who hold valid Authorizations to Test, (ATT’s) to inform them of the situation.

  • ATT’s for candidates in these countries that expire before May 31st will be extended to May 31st.
  • Candidates who have any of these countries as the selected testing country, and who also have a bundle with a 2nd Chance Exam, can receive their free retake if they test and contact exams@ascm.org by July 31st.
  • Pearson Vue will be working with candidates directly to help them reschedule on a case-by-case basis during the closure.

You can either wait for the emergency states to cease to exist (Pearson VUE testing centers in Mainland China start opening in early April), or to schedule an online exam with the new platform - OnVUE (click here first to test your system and learn about the platform). To take an OnVUE exam, you need a quiet location (home or office), computer with webcamera, and a strong Internet connection. To learn how to schedule an online exam, download the OnVUE exam setup and schedule tutorial and/or download the most current ASCM (APICS) exam handbook, where all exam questions and cases (including online exams) are covered.
