Dr. Wolfram F. Irsa, MSc, CSCP, CPFIM, CIRM is an educator, management consultant, trainer, and scientific presenter with experience in implementations of high-value projects and support for customers around the world.

Dr. Irsa is focused on improving efficiency in Operations Management. Mr. Irsa has more than thirty years of hands-on experience working in Operations Management and Logistics Management, having worked with companies like 3M, ASE, BASF, Delphi, General Electric, Johnson Controls, KTM, Lear, Lexmark, NXP, Philips, SiemensVDO, and Tyco.

Certifications

Dr. Irsa holds multiple certifications and is an automotive auditor for IATF16949. He is certified as Six Sigma Black Belt. Further, he is a perceptive, dedicated, and resourceful manufacturing, operations, quality assurance and supply chain professional with extensive experience in operations, sourcing, new product introduction, inventory management, and quality systems including reliability concession procedures.

He understands the big picture and maintains knowledge of all aspects of service and manufacturing businesses. He has major strengths in fabless/offshore manufacturing, product qualification sourcing, supply chain management including supplier management, and reliability/design verification testing in context to failure analysis.

Expertise

His extensive knowledge and experience include sourcing and manufacturing with Asian companies, both from a cultural and cost savings perspective. He is highly skilled in ERP, global supply chain, information systems, KATA, LEAN, stress test methodologies, and Theory of Constraints. He develops strong planning, purchasing, product engineering, production, quality, reliability, test, and document management system functions in start-up environments.

He successfully implements programs that result in achieving top rankings for delivery performance, quality, and services. He is a part-time senior lecturer at Universities of Applied Sciences and has presented at international scientific conferences in Europe, Asia and North America. He is the editor and author of the SPRINGER publication “Interactive Teaching of Engineering Studies – Teaching Technical Content in a Hands-on Approach”. He was on the board of directors of the Santa Clara Chapter of APICS in California
